Fine dont answer then. What do u know about sport anyway.

I lived in america and thought american football was cool. But it aint shit compared to real football (soccer). And rugby is better too.

I barely remember USA 94. I just moved to UK. Around may. A mate of mine down the street got me into soccer. and the world cup was born. My mates laughed at me taking the piss saying USA are crap etc..... funny how a country who dont give a shit about soccer got the world cup one year.

That final though biggrin Baggio wink

Check this out, I remember T.V. interviews with our Am. cousins during USA '94 (you're probably too young to have even been born back then mushy )...

"Excuse me, excuse me sir. Are you going to be watching the Football World Cup this week?"

The answers were...

"lol You mean the 'World Series", it's called the 'World Series' lol "

"World Cup? Where is that going to be? Are we in it? "

"It's a damn disgrace. This will only encourage more illegal aliens into our great country!"

I mean, censored

You have great legs theseyofit. Love you like I love my own dick, man hug

Yeah the yanks have no idea. Gotta have stupid ass half time shows and cheerleaders and shit. At half time, I go to the bar and come back in (always late) and drunk. Thats what I do anyway.

I remember little of USA 94 (i bought the cd "gloryland" though- still got it), but were the stadiums even half full? They musta been some big ass stadiums. After the great finals football has had over the last couple of weeks. Iam in the mood for world cup. Even if euro stank.

Do you remember the.....Oh never mind, you were just a lil tadpole back then, I'll tell ya...

The opening ceremony had Diana Ross (famous American Motown singer, formerly of the Supremes thumbs up! ), singing.

confused

Lost my train of thought there for a sec. baby, anyway, there was a sequence in her singing routine where she kicks a footy into a miniture goal (was quite fucking big actually), then the goal sort of explodes and breaks apart smile

She missed neutral But the goal still bust open.

Shit story. Sorry. It's only coz I love you, kid.

Look at baggios hair lol That miss would still haunt me today.

I did that exact same thing in a proper county football competition. I sky'd it. Years later, people would still rip into me mad

I wanted brazil to win for some reason? Italy play deep. brazil flashy. I want engand to be like brazil, but first u gotta get beckham to actually outrun past someone lol

Hey, let me tell you something our kid, the Eng v Eire game (1-1, if memory serves me right), was one of the shittiest games in that tournament.

What do you kids know, hey! Don't chat back to me theseyofit.
You don't know when Pannini stickers used to cost 12p a pack, and that was with a free stick of chewing gum inside too.

My lil nephew had some stickers for France '98 and they were around about a quid! omfg

What's with this whole 'World Champions' thing? Sure, the team that wins the NBA finals is likely the best club side in the world, but it's a little presumptuous is it not? Mutatis mutandis for baseball, NFL and NHL. It betrays a bit about the American mindset I think.

What u mean? Americans seem hell bent not to participate with any other country as a team. Its cool u guys have baseball, I would like to play again, but I get cricket instead. That sucks.
