Spanglish Who saw this movie and what did you think?
I thought it was clever, well written, unpredictable, humorous, touching.... one of the best I've seen in a while. You know, as light romantic comedies go. | |

Great movie! 
Adam Sandler was terrible in it though... Paz Vega is HOTT! Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind. | |

I really like this movie.
I loved the mother's struggle to keep her daughter's identity. ^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^

He sometimes plays the same guy over and over in each movie, but in this movie I thought it worked. I liked seeing him as a Dad. | |

I thought Adam held his weight in his first dramatic role.
I thought Tea was mostly great, but sometimes over the top. Cloris was a freakin hoot -- LOVED her. The family's daughter was excelent. The mother-daughter relationship with Paz & her girl -- as Sag and Fleshofmy flesh said above, was fabulous, and heartbreaking. The Paz & Adam relationship was sweet. OVERALL, those parts didn't add up to a great movie for me. It was very good, entertaining, but ultimately just that, and I think it was trying to be more than that. noituloveryxesevolasildnaydnew

It may have been the writing, but I felt his character was VERY weak in this movie. Someone like Jim Carrey can carry duel assignments, Adam can't, at least not for me. Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. I watched it again last night. I fell in love with Adam Sandler again. I think that the girl who played Adam's daughter was so underrated. She was sooooo good.
