I don't have any pics of my family on the puter right now but I wanted to share this one:
This was a meet up before the Family Jamm here in LA. I was walking around the group introducing myself to new people and this girl came up to me and said "Are you Supa!?" and I said yes and she jumped up and down and was clapping and laughing and she just grabbed me and hugged me and said "I can't believe I'm actually talking to you". She was on the org all of 3 days when this happened. She said that she was new to the site and that she saw some of my posts and thought to herself "I have to meet this guy". She was saying how she told her husband that she had to meet me and he confirmed that she had been talking about me for the past few day ever since she became a member of the site. And I was struck by 1-How sweet and flattering it was. Sweet that she would show an interest in me in such a short time and flattering that I would make an impression so quickly. And it really showed the value of this thing we call the web. Through my words, I affected someone. Someone I didn't even know. And may never have met.....but I affected them. I love this picture because it just captures the fun and the sincerity of meeting her for the first time (she's the one pointing) 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

mine's pretty random. the photo is of me, most of my brothers and four of my nephews, all at the beach last year playing football. my mum took the photo, and it was the last time she was able to come out with us all down to the beach, before she passed away at Christmas time. makes me very sad everytime i look at it. i wish i could go back so much. Very nice picture. Your mum had a great eye for symmetry and motion. I tried something similar once: ...but I think there's more feeling in yours. And I'm sure your mother would be glad to know that you can see yourselves through her eyes like this.

This picture means a lot to me because I actually think I'm halfway cute on here and it's one of very few pictures I have with my best friend: one of very few people I'd lay my life down for.

Post a picture that symbolises a meaningful part of your life. (I can't find the right phrasing for this) Even though I'm not in the photo, nor I was there at that time, this is a picture of my family, and some of my brother's and my friends. It's the only picture in more than 2 decades where both my parents are in it. This picture was taken in the Egyptian prison, about 8 years ago or so, in one of my family's visits to my bother. (the one with the huge beard and tatoo on his arm). This time in my life tought me the most. Those were the toughest years ever, travelling back and forth to Egypt, to take care of my brother, making sure he survives what is considered one of the most cruel prisons in the world. Fortunatly, we are a very united family, and have many true friends who sacrificed everything to save his life. And it tought me about true friendship, and about strong spirits. This is why this picture means the world to me. It reminds me how strong we can be if we have the right people around us. Your turn why wahs youhr brohther in the prihson?

Your turn That's a beautiful sentiment. Thanks for sharing. Here's my support system, last August. It's my parents, my brother and his girlfriend, and my sister and her husband and children. We were in Playa del Carmen to celebrate my parents' 40th anniversary: What a lovely family! And look who is there, Chris, and Theresa... ^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^

This pic makes me sad. It was taken five years ago at my parent's home. My sister is now as old as I was in this picture (18 years old). My parents just went through a very painful divorce and the contact with my mother is really bad (although it's better than a few months ago). My father moved out, my sis switches homes and I get very few opportunities to see her or other family-members. She will go to Guatemala next year. Great for her, but I'll miss her.

Ahnold said: why wahs youhr brohther in the prihson? He got cought with grass in the trunk of his car in Egypt. Since he was an Israeli, they (the judges) wanted to give him a death sentence (which is by hanging), but instead sentenced him to life in prison (which in Egypt is 25 years for drugs, compared to 15 years for murder). The usual punishment for his crime is 2-3 years. But since he was an Israeli, they decided to be nice and give life in prison. Which is also considered one of the most cruel prison in the world. You're basically boild in a cell, in the desert, at a temperature of 90+ outside the cell, and added the heat inside the cell it's almost impossible to live there. Food is something to thank for. usually they throw a big bucket of food in the muddle of the room, and whoever manages to get a plate and get there in time, will be able to eat. Sorry, I could horror stories for hours, but I think you got the idea of it. [Edited 6/8/05 13:53pm]

This was a very meaningful day in my life...4 years ago I received my BA...my mom and brother (guess which one!) were there, my son, my distant cousin, three of my best friends, my ex-father in law and his wife and the mother of my grandson...my family...traditional it ain't! This picture is full of stories and ...well mostly, on my most important day...even my mom and long lost brother came through!
