(I can't remember what the floating arrow was meant to convey...maybe you hiked to that spot??) Yes, it is Yes, it is... to confirm it twice. I hiked up to Beehive Mountain... exactly where that arrow is. That hike was the exact hiked that made me into a crazy hiking girl. Nothing can stop me now. Well... not much anyhow.

lol i was gonna say...
"if it isn't the rockies in alberta it's a damn good copy!" yes, it is beautiful... and because of the bears you don't do camping the rough way... you either stay in a hard top camper or (my preference) rent a quaint little cabin tucked away in the woods... or if you have the cash stay in the beautiful hotels... i should go hunting for the pictures of jasper a place i would love to show each and every one of you

You get to reflect on everything experienced and felt as you look back on where you've been (sounds like Life)...and you get to see everything from a brand new perspective (again..sounds like Life )

sorry, i didn't find my pics but they would only be pictures of pictures so kind of fuzzy - these will give you an idea anyway... Jasper - i can not describe the amazing color the lake water is... even this does not adequately capture it these are hardly quaint - but we stayed here for my sister's wedding and we sat in these chairs that night with a bonfire and played guitars - it was so nice and the reception was at jasper park lodge - so all the photos have a backdrop of something like this... come visit people! it's lovely

That's it...I'm leaving and going to one of these two places (or somewhere just like them)...no ifs, ands or buts.
I had this same feeling when I saw photos of the Whitsunday Islands in Australia...that I was going there, no matter what...and I did. I gotta go...I need surroundings like this.

Grand Teton National Park Lewis Lake really an awe inspiring camp trip it would be warm/hot enough to lay out and sun while the watermellon stayed cold in a drift of melting snow Very cool! My husband & I got married right outside of Grand teton National Park. We found a judge that did weddings outdoor all of the time and he took us to a perfect spot with the Tetons right beside us along a river with the reflections of the mountains in it. We got luck and found an older couple out there checking out the reflections for some pics. He was a photographer for a magazine and that was his favorite spot to take shots of the mountains. They were our witnesses. It was so great! It was so beautiful! We spent a few days in Jackson WY and hiking around the park then we spent the rest of our honeymoon in Yellowstone. I fell in love with the Tetons. Cannot wait to go back..
