I don't get Pajamas, why put on seperate clothes just to sleep in. I really don't understand why anyone would care about this. Is there really a difference between these garments and any other cotton material? Does a difference in the amount of material and print design change the nature of the garment so much that it becomes socially unacceptable to wear? Let’s not be conditioned by our clothes.

The t-shirts I have that get too worn out to wear in public become the shirts I use to sleep in since they tend to get stretched out after time.

I don't really see a difference to be honest. I sleep in panties and a T-shirt, especially since it's hot out now. I just can't sleep in lounge pants. I wear them to lounge around the house once I wake up or for early classes and that's pretty much it.

i think it might be ok for late night runs, but nothing else. i don't want to see what anyone sleeps in unless it's me. anyway, the lounge pants or jammies aren't as bad as the stilettos mentioned before or the short short skirts that don't leave anything to the imagination! wear something that covers your unmentionables please. lol

There's so many classifications for pants now and they're pretty much the same, like "beach" pants. If you ask me, they all look like lounge pants.

And "scrubs". My mom wear these too since she gets them free at the hospital. Scrubs don't look as drab as they used to. Especially since companies like Dickies are making their own line.

In the end....pants are pants. smile

Some girls wear those Sofee "cheerleading" shorts to class too. giggle I personally don't have a problem with it, but I do see other catty girls turning their noses up and whatnot whenever they pass. I'm sure the boys don't mind.
These shorts are comfortable though, but I wouldn't wear them out, not for the sake of people talking , but in fear of a camel toe.

Really, for me, it's cause they're comfy and cute and I adore my pajamas. I love pajama shopping. I love fresh clean pajamas and fresh clean sheets when I tuck myself into bed at night.

I've heard about this, but I've yet to see it where I live(Bronx). To me, it's as silly as going out with curlers in your hair.

It didn't become socially acceptable. no no no!

I try not to look frumpy. I'm often embarassed to go out in a plain tshirt and jeans. I hate walking to my car in my gym clothes. Pajamas? Are you nuts? Even now, at home on my 'puter in the middle of the night with a raging headache, my clothes at least match. confused
