DO YOU KNOW THE WAY TO SAN JOSE?

This is my beautiful, yet boring, city. I've lived here since I was 4 years old.
I live in a 91 year old house that I love although it's tiny.

Here are some of the highlights.

I am here, where are you?

Part of the downtown area.

The famous Winchester Mystery House.

One of the many churches. This is St. Joseph's.

Our Rosecrucian Museum.

And last but not least THE SHARK TANK, where I saw Prince twice last year.

You better jump out of them bushes and come on down. I haven't been to Sacratomato in a while. I used to go to FACES once in a while to get my boogie on.

Yeah, she was a little bonkers. I think it was just all the guilt from the death's from the Winchester Rifles that got to her. Do you still live in Cali?

Oops, you're in Seattle. Love Seattle!!!!! I was there about 15 years ago.

I've been to San Jose. I'm in Scotland, but a friend of mine moved out to CA and we visited him. He was living in Campbell at the time (which more or less IS in San Jose). We took in an Earthquakes game (still have the t-shirt), and visited Mrs Winchester's house ... great tour. The day we were there was a Friday 13th, and they were getting ready for a late night, lantern tour, We also drove to Monteray, and did the 17 mile drive. Stunning.

SJ is a Cool city ... unfortunately, my friend has now moved a bit further north (Santa Rosa), so the closest I'm likely to be in the future is if I take another vacation to SF.

I know SJ pretty okay. I'm a big SJ Earthquakes fan(Major League Soccer) and sometimes see them at SJ State. I've been to the San Jose Jazz Festival, which I think is one of the biggest free jazz festivals in the US. Played a soccer tourney there last summer.

The downtown is filled with big name computer companies since it's the heart of Silicon Valley. There's an area west of downtown with lots of Victorians. Kinda near the HP Pavilion.

Generally speaking, it's not that exciting, but it has it's cool bits. For such a large city, I'm surprised it feels so much like a suburb.
Don't hurt me, I'm a newb. I'm supposed to be stupid.

Yeah,I totally agree.San Jose is a nice city, but it's not really that exciting. There aren't any must-see tourist attractions. The nightlife here is dying.A cool nightclub will appear, then shut down completely less than a year later. We're also losing our Berryessa Flea Market.
