Isten, your dog is adorable! love

What is he - corgi + Jack Russell terrier?

he's a mix from jack russel terrier with something else
but i'm not sure what. the people we got him from were
not sure themselves I guess as they kept saying that it
was just two very small, short legged, rough furred,
hanging eared, extremely small jacks.

the mother was indeed as the above description, and the
picture they had of the proposed father was so as well.
however, they had one of those smallbreed midsize german
shepperd dogs running around at the neighbouring farm.

so as this little doggy kept growing, his ears firmly
upward toward the sky, it started to become more and
more clear that it was simply impossible for this dog
to be the offspring of the motherdog they had present
and that "father" dog on the pictures.

so, most likely, that german shepperd mingled himself in
that whole process somewhere lol. that seems the most
likely explanation.

either that, or one of the parent dogs must have had a
corgy parent, which genes just skipped a generation.
because his head does look like a shepperd and/or that
of a corgy.

he's a weird little guy, but we love him like our own
he's just adorable and sweet and the most clever dog
you've ever come across.
biggrin

thanks for the explanation! I saw a Sheltie corgy mix the other week - those short little legs, stout body, and pointy ears are such dead giveaways. lol

Terriers are such smart little dogs. They can be mischievious, too, but they're so curious. And active! My last dog was a chihuahua terrier mix. He would get himself into loads of trouble.
I mean, like, where is the sun?

Why, thank you!
Unfortunately he lives here in Colorado with my parents, and not with me.
