I do everything I possibly can for everyone I know. I work in brokerage compliance because I don't want people losing their life's savings. I moderate a Yahoo group for parents of autistic children. I go to the wall and would die for those I love. I speak out on the ills of our society every chance I get. I pray for people I don't know. I give ladies with kids rides when I see them standing on the bus stop. I have compassion for those less fortunate than I and wrack my brain trying to come up with real solutions to problems.

In other words, I do what we all are supposed to do.

I give what I can.
If it's money, I try and make sure it really goes where it's needed.
When I'm asked for other help, I rarely say no.

But my favorite thing to do is to smile at people, respect them, and show them kindness. The smiles this brings back brightening the day. A smile is contagious, hopefully one of my smiles has already spread beyond my country.

I would like to think i give back alot to society, I try anyway.

one of the reasons i went into nursing was to make a difference and i have realised it is often the small things that make the biggest impact on a person...

I smile or a holding of a hand when someone is down. Listening and showing empathy all tend to outway any of the other nursing interactions i have with my patients

I also volunteer helping people with substance dependances to get back on there feet and on the road to fulfilling there ambitions.

The main thing i have done to give back to the world though is to have two wonderful children, I hope to pass on to them my own values and beliefs and help them become adults who will have respect for life and everything arround them.

People might say otherwise but I cant possibly think of what Ive got to offer.
