3000 words down in last 9 hours, another 3000 to go, plus bibliography, appendix and references, GRRR!

I pity the fool that needs to get his shit done yet procrastinates by playing on the net.

do what i do when an essays due on monday.....piss about the whole weekend/weeks leading up, doing anything but the thesis/essay, make sure EVERYONE knows its due and feels sorry for you. by sunday midnight you'll have a sparkling clean house, every little job/task will be done, right down to cleaning that mark off the hallway wall thats been there since you moved in 3 years ago. then at the stroke of midnight, you know you cant possibly leave it any longer, get started. work all the way through till the deadline, hand it in. then go get some sleep.

this is my tried and tested method! i think it works because the adrenaline rush of knowing you MUST keep going and do it makes my brain go up a gear. I always get better marks for essays done like this than the ones i spend weeks on, refining and redrafting etc.
