I bought and restored a cool guitar. Okay then, today I went out, following my car's front bumper wherever it may lead and found myself at a local music store and I was checking out some amps. When the storeclerk called my name and said that he had something cool for me.
So he leads me to the front of the store and points at the empty carcass of an Epiphone Zakk Wylde Model. It had no pickups and no hardware. He told me that this is a brand new guitar which was canibalised for its parts but was in perfect working condition. I ask him how much he wants and he goes "300" I told him that he got himself a deal and walked out with the guitar I went home, searched through my almost endless pile of guitar parts and restored it. And so I bought a guitar that when in brand spanking new condition would have cost me over 1200 bucks for one fourth of the price. Am I lucky or what?
