To hell with Denzel and Wesley Snipes I say Samuel L Jackson is one of the greatest actors EVER!!! he got a late start in his career on the big screen and he has battled drug use and although he's older and NOT considered a sex symbol, he is kinda sexy. Sam Jackson is a good actor but he chooses shitty roles. He's not on Denzel's level though. Denzel is one of the finest actors of his generation, I just wish he was given more roles to stretch himself and show his talents. Don Cheadle is rapidly getting there though. He's one of the best actors in the biz and has been for a VERY long time. He upstaged Denzel in Devil In A Blue Dress. | |

If the discussion is kept to the three actors originally mentioned, my opinion would be (from worst to best):
Snipes: Great potential--More than Jackson. But continues to work with the worst scripts. Jackson: Fun to watch-Decent Actor. Great sense of self and style. Attitude. Denzel: Great actor. (Though certainly didn't deserve to win for "Training Day") | |
