What character traits/flaws have you picked up from your Parents...whether natural or conditioned?

I have my Dad's body and his voracity with women, thank god I don't have the seven kids from 6 different women....whew!!!

I have my Mom's mind and outlook on life....and her feet!!! Toffee...say one word and die!

I am becoming more and more outspoken like Mom is, which is a good thing...and luckily...I have a high body metabolism of them both which aids in keeping me looking young!

Both of them are smokers....didn't get that at all...Yes!

So....let 'em go folks!

I have my mothers sharp tongue, and mild intolerance

FOr the donor, I got his height and sarcasm

Good - I've got my dad's smarts, his sense of humour and I got my appreciation of music from him.
Not so good - I've got his bad habit of being emotionally closed off to the people who are close to me and if I weren't careful I'd have developed his problem w/alcohol too. (I've also got his squinty-eyed smile. )

My mom and I are quite different... I don't think I take after her much. But she's a great mom anyway.

I have my mothers temper I'm practically an exact cross of my parents i look like them both.

I have my dads silly humour, my moms sarcasm and my dads empathy and compassion

I'm more like my mom than i care to admit and i fight being like her with every ounce of will power i have.

I have good technical sense from both parents.
Any artistic talents I have are both from my parents too.
My love for chocolates from my mother.
My stubborness from my father.

Oh, and my manners from my mother.

My love for people and social atmospheres comes from both parents...they loved to entertain and be the life of the party!!

I have both of my parents' perfectionism and extremely high expectations.

But I also inherited my father's temper.

OH! AND stubbornness.

That reminds me!! My manners came from the woman who baby sat me every day for years. She was like a second mom to me. She was very much a "lady" and was quite strict on matters of etiquette. It still haunts me to this day.

Okay, the gay gene was passed down definately from my father. My mother passed on some of her stubborness. At least that's what my dad says.

Both of my parents are hilarious. Well, my mom was. I think I got some of my wittiness from them.

from my Dad I got a lot of traits too...I didn't grow up with Dad but both me and my brother especially (he's a carbon copy of Dad lol except a younger one) share a lot of characteristics with him

My Dad's wit and my Mum's naughtiness.

I'm the female version of my father through and through.

Not at all like my mother.
