it was the first time he kissed me... the entire room just stopped, and all my energy was on him

Love just kind of sneeks up on me for the most part, a gentle slide...then just one day, it's said and it's common place.


But.... there have been two times in my life I felt that WHOOOSH and then I KNEW.

Neither times are romantic, or anything special, it was just a connection I felt to those two people at those two times.

When my put my arm around her waist. A year of connections and strange feelings was turned into realisation at that point.

well, i've only been in love twice...the second time being now...
and i think because i know so much more now than i did the first time (or @least i'm able 2 make better decisions and form better personal opinions on the subject)...this should count as my first time being in love...


and i knew it when i would share my most private and intimate thoughts, and he ended up caring for me more than being scared away like all the others...i knew that if he still wanted 2 be around me and all my flaws, something special was goin on here...i also knew it was special when i'm able 2 openly speak 2 my mom about him...not tell her everything, but express how much i like him...my mom knows nothing about my lovelife...so 4 me 2 let her in...it's special...

i can really say i'm in love with him..

With my husband it was not falling, it was kind of a sneaking up on me thing which I wasn't even aware of until we were right in the middle of it thinking about buying a house together!

Sad but true...you only really know what it is afterwards when you are still thinking of them months after and you wonder to yourself, how the hell are they still getting under my skin...?

i don't think you have to have been in love with the person to have those feelings, Just being a spoilt bratt and used to having everything your own way and suddenly having your favourite play thing taken away makes you feel kinda like that.

I don't really know I guess when I felt that she was the only one who truly cared about me, and made me feel safe around her.

the first time i fell in love, i think i only knew once i'd said the words, and knew that in my heart it was true.
