I can see that for one this is a touchy subject to everyone or to most. I don't think there is any justification for killing anyway you look at it; however different countries have different practices. It may be true that other countries have lower crime rates than here in America, but you have to consider that this country is larger than most and what may work for smaller countries cannot possibly work for the other. Our prisons are overrun with people that have committed serious crimes - people no one would want on the streets and sometimes extreme measures have to be taken (no matter how controversial they may be). I know the stereotypes that others have for Americans and that we may have for others, but just as people are different so are the governments that run them. My kitty wants to play... | |
