I have never lived alone. I really feel like I've missed out on something important, but I would dearly miss my loved ones if they weren't here. . . especially at night.

I read every single word written here, it is good to see people enjoy their time alone. For some people, the comfort comes natural... while others may need to adjust.

Quite honestly, I prefer being alone and all that I wish for is simply a nice thought at the moment. Options always seem present for me... time will tell and hopefully so will my heart. Challenges will always exist… but souls must connect.

I went through a period of dating/meeting new people... I felt I had to... to gain a sense of what all this dating thing is about. I had been in a relationship for so long that I truly had not experienced meeting the opposite sex. For a short time it was exciting to get to know someone new... although ultimately it is not for me. Friendship always remains, phone calls are nice... maybe a nice lunch/dinner or social hangout... but nothing more personal than that with many who are in my life at this time.

Funny how you sometimes think someone will sweep you off your feet and you forever live in wonder... while all the while... the wonder has been right within your reach all along.
