'Breakfast Club' Cast to Reunite

on MTV

NEW YORK - Don't you forget about "The Breakfast Club." At the 2005 MTV Movie Awards, to air June 9, the network plans to reunite the cast of the classic '80s movie, the cable channel said Friday.

Though Emilio Estevez, who played Andrew Clark, isn't confirmed, in attendance will be Molly Ringwald (Claire Standish), Ally Sheedy (Allison Reynolds), Anthony Michael Hall (Brian Johnson) and Judd Nelson (John Bender).

The 1985 film was directed by John Hughes, who had a string of hit films starring young people during the decade, among them "Sixteen Candles," "Weird Science," "Pretty in Pink" and "Ferris Bueller's Day Off."

Yellowcard will perform the film's theme song, "Don't You Forget About Me," from the 1985 film. The song was originally recorded by Simple Minds.

This year's awards will be hosted by Jimmy Fallon. To be taped June 4 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, the show's scheduled performers include Mariah Carey, Eminem and Nine Inch Nails.

I like the fact that Emilio Estevez isn't confirmed. What the fuck happened to the guy? Didn't he used to have a decent career. Why did it fall apart?

Anyone remember "men at work" with partner in crime charlie sheen?

Plus, I think this film really killed his career.

I like emilio. Alot better actor then ashton kutcher. I hate that guy.

It all makes sense now! I'll give you the first one and yes, cash in on one sequel, but a third? Dang! And I almost forgot about "Freejack", much like the public! I just looked him up on IMDB and he seemed to have spent the last few years away from movie (probably due to the embrassing looking "Rated X", whcih he did with brother Charlie Sheen, who works all the time now that his show is a hit. He is going to be in two movies this or next year, one which he is directing and writing.

WOW. Someone remembers this film LOL. I saw it again (foegot I owned it) and it wasn;t that bad. First half is good, then it just gets kinda too silly. It makes me wanna be a garbage man lol Infact, as a kid, thanx to this movie, I did wanna be a garbage man.
