I feel your pain. I took the thing with me to work. Thank God I did. He knew how to work the damn thing and what he showed me was not in the book. There are a lot of things that he knows and it is not in the book. The book is just taking up space in my purse. The thing went to drive mode and started talking. It scared the shit out of me.

How to change ringtones...


hit the 'menu' key..
Select 'settings'
Select 'Sounds'
Select 'Ringers'

Pickwhich tone you want to set, Caller ID, No Caller ID , or Restricted Calls.

Go thru the list for each one, selecting which ringtone you want to use.


Voila!

I don't know anything about downloading new ringtones tho, I have not done that yet

I suggest no one ever purchase a phone that is smarter than they are.

I am a Sprint kid, so I had a Sanyo 8100 picture flip phone, then the fucker tore apart. I didn't have the phone for 16 months, so I couldn't get a free Sprint upgrade, and the warranty had just ran out.

So, essentially, I had to spend $189.99+tax on a new phone which isn't even as cool as the 8100 (which is no longer made).

Fuck you in the ass, Sprint.
