Are there any other orgers who have a partner who works offshore, eg on rigs or boats?

My mans been away for 2 weeks of a month trip and im missing him sooooo much!

He does a month on a month off. The only contact we have is via email usually.

We've been together 18 months now and just wondered if anyone here in a similar situation can tell me if it ever gets any easier on the missing him/lonliness front?

And to top it off, im missing the scottish fans meet-up tonight because i couldnt get a babysitter

Just think in less than 2 weeks he'll be home for a whole month!! I hope he's making big money! Kind of a dangerous job.

yeah they get a decent wage working out there.He's on a ship in the north sea somewhere between britain and norway. Weathers really rough just now.

Just found out the job he's on just now means he'll be away for a month then home for only 2 weeks - till november .....aaaargh!
