What scared you when you were a kid?

For me Maniquinns freeked me out? I used to get expecially frightened of them because they were so lifeless!

My family didn't have much money growing up so we shopped at second hand stores and the Maniinns there expecialy scared me in their ugly clothes?

I don't think anything scared me as a kid.
except I never liked bugs. any kind of bugs.

i cant recall childhood fears ... my dad says i was fearless

i do remember ( because of being empathic ) picking up on others fears sometimes

until i would realize that it wasnt mine

Oh hell yah.. I hated doll like figures.. I just thought they would come to life and shit. I remember I got a "Lester Doll" for Xmas one year when I was a lil kid. I don't know if you guys remember Lester. He was a ventriloquist doll like back in the 80s. I was pissed off that I got that gift. I just threw his ass at the bottom of my toy box.

OMG...I remember running out of Sears screaming...it was a MOVING mannequin! My Uncle tscolded me...and then...well I had nightmares for days! I was 6 or so! Too funny now that I look back on it...great thought/topic!

Maniquinns never scared me. Actually, they fascinated me. What I liked to do is mimic them and strike a pose which probably explains why I ended up doing some modeling. Where I lived, the place to shop was downtown before all these damn malls where built in the burbs.
