Has Walt Disney been cryogenically frozen?

Is Disney on ice? While it is true that most facilities that house frozen individuals have strict confidentially agreements, there is no record or evidence that Walt Disney was ever frozen. Have you ever heard this rumor?

I recently saw a program on Discovery or NGC, can't remember which one
in which it was stated that all these cryogenically frozen heads or
bodies will be completely useless in the future since cells deteriorate
even in the chronic frozen state. So by the time technology might be at
a point where heads can be sown onto new bodies, the kept material may
already be useless.

Besides, what are these people thinking anyway, being frozen? Look at
all the millions, billions of dollars that have already gone into the
extensive research into cures for cancer, aids and malaria. And cures,
real cures, are still far far off.

So how do these nuts expect anyone to be able to do extensive research
into the art of thawing a severed head to attach it onto a newly grown
body, just for such cause??

I think you will find that the expression "Disney On Ice" refers to stage shows of various Walt Disney films, retold in ice dance.

I've heard this rumour too Pej. Radioactivegranny's head has been frozen too, she's waiting to return with the body of Arnold Schwatshisname.

So true! It's probably one of those "don't tamper with mother nature" rules..... plus as far as I know if a human is frozen in ice then thawed out it would probably if not most definitely have brain damage .

nod course, there are many people in the world (and on the org) for whom this wouldn't make a blind bit of difference. whistling

Claim: Walt Disney arranged to have himself frozen in cryonic chamber full of liquid nitrogen upon his death, and he now awaits the day when medical technology makes his re-animation possible.

Status: False.

Origins: When the "frozen Disney" rumor was started, and by whom, is unknown. The privacy Disney maintained concerning his personal life extended to his death, and the lack of details available about his funeral and burial arrangements -- combined with his reputation as a technological innovator -- has helped foster the story of Disney's cryonic suspension ever since.
