San Jose has been growing. It's a bigger city than San Francisco with the same amount of people. It's an okay city. I'm very comfortable here. It's the home of the Doobie Brothers, Adrianne Barbeau(some of the young-ens wont know who she is) and the Winchester Mystery House. It's a huge house that has 144 rooms. The house belonged to the guy that made the Winchester Rifles. After he died his wife hired a medium. They told her that she would have to add on rooms each year (or something like that). The ghosts of the people killed by Winchester Rifles told the medium to tell her. CRAZY!!!!!

In Vancouver I remember going to this really cute restaurant by the bay where they had drinks served in gold fish bowls. My ex and I had such a great time there. Unfortunately we drove up only for 2 days from Seattle.

I am right over the hill in Santa Cruz! highfive

San Jose has a bomb-ass Japan Town. It's an original - one of only three left in the state! You should check out the tofu man there, miguel. mr.green

Wasssupppp!!! You know I love me some Santa Cruz too. I may go there tonight just to get out of San Jo. I like to go dance at the Dakota.

I actually lived in Japan town for about 3 years. I loved it. I now live about 10 short blocks away. I love going to their carnival in April(?). There are lots of exhibitions and stuff. I'll keep the tofu in mind!! Yey!

Dakota! woot! I haven't been there in ages. These days I just go to one of the bars downtown... we should meet up sometime for a drink!

I've never been! I just googled some photos and it looks gorgeous. My boyfriend was gonna take me to Saturn downtown for lunch today (he's never been and it's SO a SC staple) but we are both low on cash so it will have to wait!

I love Saturn. I had the most romantic date there ever. That's another thread. Remind me to tell you about the Priest one of these days.....
