Ohhhhhh Money. I'm sure the people who know me are aware that yesterday I was helping raise money for disabled children and there familys.
After spending a million trillion hours folding raffel tickets and arranging a tombolla to raise more money... the bowling started it was a wonderful day and we had managed to get some professional england bowlers to take part The girl in the centre is Zara Glover, she has been world Champion a few times and took time out to help us raise much needed money. The girl on the left is an england bowler called Lisa Johns also bowled yesterday. We managed to raise nearly £1800 It was fun and i know Roger would have been proud. Roger died last year of Bowel Cancer he was 50. The charity was his baby and all his family and friends are dedicated to keeping it going in his memory.

yeah, thats why i left chat early (if you can call 2am early) I bowl anyway, i have done since the age of 9, Nearly all my friends do bowl which is why the competition was set up to raise money. It was a great day, very emotional because we all had Roger in our minds and hearts but we made alot of money that is very much needed. already talking about next years

I'm thinking of trying to do something similar for the drug and alcohol charity where i volunteer as they need more funding all the time to start new projects in the community. and yes the bowling ally would be insured againsn't damage, even disasters on our scale would be covered WHEN you come over I'll take you, we can drag tisse along too you really can't be any worse than froggy (just don't kick the wall in frustration we found out a couple of weeks ago they are hollow and your foot goes through very easy

The whole saga was very strange though, I just turned up one day to a local village thing had a go at the old bowling, some old fart said that I was good and did I want to compete in two weeks? I say sure, go, win (with an awsome but fluke winning shot) and I have never bowled since Still have the trophy somewhere I am definately going back to it though when I get official old fart status Happy is he who finds out the causes for things.Virgil (70-19 BC).
