I have message for those willing to to be used by me.

In this stressful period, I need to make one task after the other. (6 more to go, 11 days left).

My most recent project is a wequest (in Dutch, but nevermind) about the most important moments of life :

- birth
- growing older
- marriage
- death

Pupils have to do research and make a magazine in which they compare their own culture to another one, and see how both cultures handle one of these four moment. What about traditions, symbols, music? Etc...

Now the difficult part for me is that this quest has to be put in a website once again. And again, I'm looking for illustrations : pics, cartoons, anything suitable for a website...

So if you have ideas, or pics of rituals (nothing offensive please), post them here and I will be very thankful.

Cartoon Designers obviously wanted to appeal to the new kids on the block as it were. Sign of the times then and indeed now. No one dates worse then the kidvid.

The Vegas-wedding is a great idea. Suikerbonen as well. I was thinking about the Dutch 'muisjes', how could I forget our tradition?

Any ideas about 'plechtige communie' or 'besnijdenis' (circumcision)??

I know Turkish boys are dressed up for the circumcision 'party'... I googled 'circumcision/besnijdenis': I wish I didn't see all those pics. Poor boys.

And what about the white doves newly weds release after the wedding ceremony? The rice they (used to) throw around?

At a 'plechtige communie' we order an ice-cake/ijstaart in the shape of a lamb... then the 'plechtige communicant' has to decapitate it and it starts bleeding berry juice.
