Straight Woman Seeks Gay Man For Friendship When I was in high school my best friend (when we weren't NOT speaking to each other) was a gay guy named Sean. He was the snobbiest, funniest, stylin'ist dude ever. We did everything together, especially laugh. I haven't seen him since graduation.
One of my first jobs out of school was working in a jewelry store. It was myself, another girl named Susan, and 4 gay men, including the boss. Oh, the laughs we had!!! I guess what I'm saying is.....I miss having a gay guy friend. I really believe every girl needs at least one. My 14 year old daughter has one and the other day my 13 yr old daughter was telling me about Spencer, a new kid at her school who she thinks is so cool and knows he is gay. I told her "Congratulations on your new gay-guy friend!" She knew what I meant cause we've talked about Sean and the whole thing. We laughed... This thread is making me all  now..... | |

not all gay men are flamboyant, sassy, style gurus. If you befriend someone who happens to be gay, wonderful. But if you are looking for gay men as a source of enterainment, you'll probabbly wind up being labeled a fag hag. | |

This thread is making me all now.....why didn't you and sean stay in touch? I lost a good friend, about 7 years ago, his name was Taylor, he was a really good gay friend to me. But I betrayed his trust and dumped him to be friends with this girl named Julie. She had a car and we were both pregnant and working at the same job. They were both really good friends to me, but when I look back on the situation, I was just using them both. I used to be a very selfish person, and I owe them both an apology.
