I get the feeling that some of us on the org are getting a bit crabby with each other here. I don't know if it's because we're taking the internet for granted and not remembering that there is a human being on the other end of that screen.
I think one reason might be that we come here to fool around and not really get to know our fellow orger that well. I'm guilty of this. I sometimes find myself replying to a thread and discovering that I haven't ever talked to that person before.....why? Well....I guess it's a bit of lazyness on my part and also just hanging with my group of friends.
So....let's see if we can all get out of this habit and get to know someone, even just one orger, a little better.

What I want everyone to do is got to the home page and have a look at all the orgers on line right now. Close your eyes.....then move your mouse over the names and click! See who you have....then send them an org note.

You could also just send an org note to someone who you've never talked to before but have always wondered what they where like. I'm sure they would love to hear from you. I know I like getting org notes out of the blue.

Let's see how we go. Tell us who you picked and post back here with the results.

To be honest, if we want to create a more civil atmosphere around here, it needs to start internally...unfortunately, exchanging orgnotes won't bring about that introspection needed.

But I still like the idea...it never hurts to practice reaching out to someone and simply being civil and genuine...especially on the internet.
