The Roth house in Kirchheim Tech, Germany
[Edited 5/19/05 21:44pm]

The City wall in Kirchheim. Evey village in days of old had a wall surrounding it preventing outsiders and danger from entering the city. All homes and shops were within the walls and immediately outside were the farm lands then the forrest. To me... it seemed all crops should have been inside the wall as well.
I walked on this wall and wondered what life was like in those days. In this picture you see the opening to wall. A jazz and blues club isin the wall where once where supplies and men to protect.

The city gate. Back when city walls were high and the only way to enter in was through the city gates.
