Small Children On airplanes Has anyone ever taken a toddler on an airplane before.
What are the best ways to keep them under control for the flight. Its about a 3 hr flight, and my 2 year old cant sit still for more than 5 seconds any suggestions? (p.s. yes I am aware this will bomb )

My boss has an excellent way to keep her kid occupied. She always makes sure there is something to do. Crayons, COloring Books, and other simple things like that. She always makes sure that her kid has a new toy to play with, as usually that keeps them occupied for most of the trip.

Make them run around for hours before the flight.
They'll be so tired, they'll sleep the entire flight. Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

actually, when we were kids and driving for long distances (family vacations) mom used to make us take dramamine even though none of us suffered from car sickness. we'd wake up hours later. ... having reached our destination

of course, when *I* was a child, all you had to do was put a book in front of me and i was quiet for hours. but that's because only children rock.

(p.s. yes I am aware this will bomb ) The airlines usually let parents with young children board the plane first. Bring books, games, crayons, a few toys. The flight attendant can provide juice or water if the child gets thirsty. Bring some snacks for the toddler to munch on. When it is safe after the plane is in the air, you may wander around and take the child for a walk around. Ohh purple joy oh purple bliss oh purple rapture! Ok! I've done this before with a 3 year old.
Take books, pencils and anything else the child loves doing. Have some treats and drink near you so that you can use them to bribe. lol For every 20 minutes that they are good...you give them a treat. Works eveytime.
