It made me sick to my stomach to see a certain top Hollywood celebrity professing (yet again) his bored 'undying love' for his latest beard (oops sorry, I meant 'girlfriend') on Entertainment Tonite a couple of days ago.

Why is this so important to you? If a person is not out of any closet, that is up to him. He is living his own life as he sees fit.
Just cuz of the fact that he is a Hollywood celebrity does not change anything about the fact that his personal life is none of our business.

It's so tiring that the gay community wants to forcefully push people out an excisting (or non-excisting) closet. Even if the guy had sexual experiences with men, that does not make him gay. He might be bi-sexual and jeez, that is his own business.

I mean, grow up! Tom Cruise does not want to be gay. Celebrate the ones that do. Forget about the rest, it is not worth it.

GROW UP? A tad harsh - on one hand you're telling me I should respect other peoples belief systems and values, and yet YOU are dictating to me what I can and can't say. People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

Besides, you don't know what I know. So nana ....with big frikkin knobs on.

When I was a gay gossip columnist I found that of all the gay celebreties, these two had the points of view that I could identify the most with:

But I stopped writing that five years ago, so who knows what I'd have thought today. confuse

But after the first season or two of Six Feet Under, I lost interest in that show, too. And since then, there haven't been any other gay celebrities or gay characters who have attracted my attention. Yet...

Well, ya know, not legally but in all sense of the word "married" we are. nod

married- adj. - Closely connected; united.

The OTT gay one on "will and grace" might be considered one. But I think he puts the "fabulous" gay stereotpye back about 10 years.

yeah I doont know how I'd be though. If I was gay and watching Jack (is that right) portraying a typical "look at me iam proud to be sooooo gay" stereotpye, I might get a lil' pissed.

yeah and I HATE Will! I watch it for Karen and Rosario. And I don't like it when Karen calls the "girls" fag. That kinda of pisses me off.

The whole show pisses me off biggrin Grace is soo much like rachel (from friends) for starters. Anyway, it is watchable. But Jack is the real shitrag for me. The wrting screams " IAM A STEREOTYPE GAY!".

Will at least seems more normal. Jack was of course deliberately played for laughs but he makes big gay al from south park look like sylvester stallone?

Yeah, yeah, we know. You have mysteriously and irritatingly hinted at it several times now. If you know a 'secret', you should keep yer mouth shut and not hint at something told to you in 'trust' by an attentionseeker that can't keep his mouth shut either.

Ooh, and rolleyes

I don't need Tom Cruise to be gay. I am secure in who and what I am. I have no desire to wish every guy queer. That's just so queer, you know...

Cool. biggrin

I can recommend The Films of Montgomery Clift by Judith M. Kass, Montgomery Clift - Beautiful Loser by Barney Hoskins and Monty by Robert LaGuardia. The latter is the best, but the others offer additional information for those who just can't get enough Monty. biggrin

Jeez... disbelief see, it's ignorant, lunk-head remarks like this why I tend not to even bother posting much anymore. Why did u have to go and make it a personal diatribe against me? I could see where this was heading with your previous post, but ya couldn't resist having the last word could ya?

If you re-read my posts and use yer frikkin head as apposed to that big mouth of yours, you'll see:

a) i never 'mysteriously and irritatingly hinted at it several times' like u claimed, just once. hell - i never even mentioned the guys name if ya wanna split hairs about it.

b) to state here, on a public forum that I am 'not secure in who and what I am' because of a tongue-in-cheek post that was actually posted in fun, is highly fuckin' offensive, and not only should u know better, but consider youself having lost one possible friend because of your poorly thought-out and frankly self-centered reply. Now...what was that you were saying about growing up?

Anyway, sorry to interupt Huey babes - back to you, you, you. Im sure this will run and run, and you'll have hours of fun with it but I really can't be fucking bothered anymore if this is the depths Orgers have now sunk to instead of respecting someone elses opinion/s - at least in some shape or form.

So, at least im sure of one thing now - that we WONT be meeting when im Amsterdam. Seen as you can get away with it, why don't YOU keep YOUR mouth shut for a change? I don't care about your next venemous little reply - cuz I know it'll be even more pathetic - so do your worst, I really could care less what you think anymore, as I've now lost any respect I previously had for you.
