I wish I could take credit for the caption on this pic. That's what the picture was captioned when I saved it. Hilarious!!!! The little kid reminds me of the little vampire in the Lost Boys, hair and all.

Tell me what you miss from the 80's!

OMG, I LOVED the 80's, that decade was da bomb! headbang woot! headbang woot! I miss everything about it, to be honest. Once the 90's came, it just was not the same anymore. I miss the 80's so much!!!!! sad

clapping dancing jig I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THE 80'S!!! It was the best time of my life. I say EVERYDAY at least once a day "I wish it were still the 80's".

Co-sign!!! I say the same thing, "Man, I wish I could go back to the 80's again!" Shoot, back then I was a youngin in my 20's, with so much ambition for things in life. Now that I'm 40+, I just don't have that same enthusiasm anymore. sigh I think once you get to a certain age, all that enthusiasm kind of goes away.
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

What I miss about the 80s:

big hair
the colorful clothes
the music
the friends I had then
my exboyfriend

but mostly, like psychodelicide mentioned, what I miss about the 80s is the enthusiasm & excitement for life I had then, and how rosy and full of opportunity the future looked. I had lots of dreams and hopes back then that have all basically died away as I've grown older and become more jaded and realistic (and more cynical? lol)

Like some others above said, I loved absolutely everything about the 80s. It was the happiest, best time of my life.
