Well, have a great time! Have you ever heard Ness' first solo album (Cheating at Solitaire)? My boy Bruce trades off verses and guitar solos w/Mike on "Misery Loves Company". Here's a brief interview snippet w/Ness:

"Everyone we picked on the record, whether it was a bass player or a drummer or a special guest, was picked because I knew they would bring something special to my music," Ness says. "I knew that 'Misery Loves Company' was perfect for Bruce Springsteen, because I knew he was a Social Distortion fan."

I saw Mike on that tour and you should have heard the confusion in the audience when he announced that Bruce played on that song on the record ("Is he serious?" confuse). Bruce is punk-rock - deal with it beeyotches!

Hey - didn't you just see Social D. a few months back? Was that in Boston? Also: what's the name of your friend's band again - the one that's opening?

I don't like his solo stuff as much as the Social D stuff.

Yeah I saw them twice in Boston just in the past few months. I wasn't going to go to this one but my friends are opening so I had to. They are "Lost City Angels". Fun boys I tell ya! We will be getting our buzz on at my place before the show biggrin I'm actually leaving work in 10 mins wink

I'll try and watch out for that band. Again, have a great time! Tell me all about it tomorrow!
