i used 2 be really conflicted about the decision...i've been wanting 2 locks up since i was about 14...my mom would always look down on it and would ignore me and stop speaking 2 me because i wanted 2 do it...almost as if she'd love me less if i did do it... it hurts 2 kno that because of something as petty as a hair style one can actually love u less 4 it...very hurtful. | |

I wonder, and maybe some of you can answer this, how does one start locking ones hair. I mean I know a girl who wants to do it but does not want to go to the hairdresser and have them done. She would like to start them herself. Can you successfully do that??? | |

I thought all the photos above--celebrity or not--are of real people with real hair.
