I've been burned one two many times by the hot comb, the curling iron, or the straightening chemicals. Enough of that shit. I can't believe that there are black people out there that still have this attitude. There is nothing easier to manage than locks or cornrows. I keep my hair braided. My hair is long and striaght, all I do is apply BANTU perm once a month, wash and condition my hair. That's all it takes! No nasty grease, pink moisuriser or other shit, just wash condition and go! Perms made me bald too many times so I stopped perming and just went nappy with briads or crochet briads, but when I entered my 20's I found out how to take care of my permed hair and what perm worked for my hair texture and now I have lovely striaght hair. I feel you ! I wore Braids ALL through my high school years! Perms made me bald too many times so I stopped perming and just went nappy with briads or crochet briads, but when I entered my 20's I found out how to take care of my permed hair and what perm worked for my hair texture and now I have lovely striaght hair.
