all i know is that i'm sick of every other commercial, from M&M's to Burger King, having something Star Wars in it. I mean, people are gonna flock to see the movie anyway, so why do they have to throw it at us constantly?

giggle

see, being a star wars nut, i love that everything I've seen in the past week has some sorta star wars sumptin. It's crass commercialization, but it works for me! biggrin

I know what you mean. I've actually found the over-hype quite amusing, even with all the TV commercials, then again I don't watch TV but maybe one night a week so I haven't been over-saturated with it. Now if it were someone like prince, I'd probably be screaming "SELL-OUT"!

I had a banana slurpee from 7-11 and the cup is Star Wars and the top is the head of Darth Vader.

I wonder if they sell these here? My son would love it. He just drew a picture of Darth Vader - complete with that triagle grill bit on the front of the helmet eek He was drawing it from memory too.

Remember phantom menace marketing? eek Amazing. That was the most hpye film I have ever witnessed. Kids at my school even brought in lightsabers.

I remember tazzo's (lil' kids toys, like badges, excpet u traded them and colleced them) for the re-release of the orginal trilogy in 1997. Perfect age for myself and my mates to see star wars. Now Iam so happy I got to see those movies in the cinema. I never saw them before that. That was very crafty of lucas.

We don't have them in Houston either. Back about 15 years ago, Stop & Go bought them all out. Now the closest one is in Austin!
