PrintableA couple weeks ago my daughter and I were at the post office and we saw this older woman walking extremely slow through the parking lot, and wincing with each step.
I stopped and my daughter got out to escort her to her car. I parked and ran over and we got her there together. She hugged us both and was all teary. We felt really warm after. | |

Even though I am Catholic and will always be, most people know that my belief system is universal.. Thanks sweety, I'm hoping I don't offend people by saying that I'm a recovering Catholic. I believe a lot of what the Bible says but I don't take it as it being all true. It was translated and re-written and edited so many times and by so many people, who knows what the real truth is. I just follow my heart. As long as I'm not hurting anyone and I go out of my way to make someone happy then I feel I'm okay. SupaFunkyOrgangrinderSexy said: I was at lunch and walking past a Catholic church 2 blocks from my job. I looked over and saw a little old lady struggling to get out. She had a walker and she couldn't get the walker out and hold the door open at the same time. Every time she would push the heavy door open to push her walker through it would just shut as she was gripping the handles to move her walker.
I ran over and held the door open with one hand and pulled the walker out with the other. She just looked at me with the biggest smile and said "Thank you". I helped her down the steps and then she was off, shuffling away on this beautiful sunny California day. I like doing nice things!  I do stuff like that too
