OMG!!! Today.... The staff at my school voted for me to recieve " The Superintendent's Teacher Recognition in Outstanding Achievement Award!!!"
This is a big deal for teachers!!!! It means the other teachers in my building voted that I am the best teacher in my school for this school year!   
Something like 38 teachers voted and I recieved 31 votes!!!! and I'm only a second year teacher!!!
This is really good news considering that the board of education decided to not pick up my contract for next school year. 
But this will look great on my resume!!! 
Today is the best day I've had in a long time!!!  In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |
