Meet Dexter, one of my two cats.



If you don't know him yet, he is the one that is skittish. He would not let me pet him til after TWO years, would run away when I approached him etc.

The darn animal NEVER makes a sound, only when in extreme pain.

Today, Dexter came up to me and MEOWED.

This might not sound like a big deal, but he has NEVER done it before! The big wuz is becoming a softie! His meow is really mournful, like wanting to say; "I want to go outside", which I'm sure it meant.

Isn't that amazing? I have had him for almost four years now! And he MEOWS!

I am a happy tom cat owner!

PS, those pictures I was only able to make a month ago! Before that I only had ONE picture of him and people thought I was making this tom cat up... LoL

He is just extremely skittish, which only changed after he got very ill and he had to be handled alot. He felt so secure around me, he let me pet him and he only then found out it can be quite joyous to be petted...

Poor fella. He is like all the men I am attracted to! LoL

What a handsome cat and he looks sweet. Dexter reminds me a little of Tom of Tom and Jerry.

My mother has a beautiful cat that someone gave her when she was a fresh new born- like too young to be way from the mama cat. Her name is Olivia and she extremely social- she'll follow you around the house, jump up in your lap, and loves to pur. I see if I can find a pic.

Not yet but my friend Rick called me yesterday and said he was gonna surprise me but decided it would be best to talk to me first and he wants to buy me a kitty for my birthday. He was just gonna bring one over as an early present, but wisely decided I would need to be ready for it and all that. So next weekend we're gonna go to the humane society and find a nice, lovable kitty (or probably cat, but they're all kitties to me) for me to adopt. To tell the truth I'm not entirely sure I'm ready yet, and I may end up post-poning, but I do so miss cuddling with a kitty regularly...
