it just occurred to me that i have no one to see STAR WARS with

All my Star wars fan friends live far, far, away...and I'm totally wanting to go see it next week when it opens and I ave no one in the NY area to go with!

I sent emails out to my ny-area friends (i'm travelling for work right now) about going and most of them just sent "lol"-type responses.

I don't have issues going to the movies myself as I've done it before but Star wars III isn't a movie you can see for the first time by yourself!

SASSY...will you fly back east? sad

I went down tot he theater to get tix for the midnight showing...and they were sold out!

I was sad.

Then my friend went on fandango and got some other tix for a midnight showing at another theater.

I was happy.

If I was in NY, I'd go with you. That's a little too far away for me to go, however.

But you would have had to deal with me wearing my Jedi costume. jedi

Me and my sister usually go and watch sci-films when they come out but she is busy with her final year at university. I have a horrible feeling I may be going on my own too.

it's no fun when you don't have people you know that appreciate star wars the way you do sitting next to you to react to everything happening. I'm not going to turn to some stranger and go "holy shit!" (cuz that's what i know i'll do all throughout th emovie!) lol

lol

if you are planning on going to a midnight screening/opening day, I'm sure the theater will be FILLED with us geeks. So, it'll be perfectly acceptable to turn to a strange neighbor and say: "HOLY SHIT!"

nod
