Is it difficult to learn?

I found it hard and it hurt

I've been playing/learning since around October, but I have a back injury and I can't play for a while now. I love it though. It's very addicting.

Depends on your self-discipline, natural abilities and how proficient you want to become. If you just want to learn how to play "rhythm", it ain't that hard if you practice.

ive played for years. and theres some things i still need to work on, there is always room for growth and to learn one's instrument

If you can afford it, also buy yourself a really cheap amplifier of some sort...if you can't get an amp, try plugging into your hi-fi stereo (that's how I startet years ago!).

Next, go here http://perso.wanadoo.fr/n...cemenu.htm and download some of those Prince tabs. First songs you should learn are probably something like 'the cross', '7'... listen to the songs, learn what chords involved and how to make them, then just play along with the tracks!

no, it's pretty easy, if you want to get to a basic level. Not sure there's much easier, apart from maybe the Recorder.

to get really good though, is gonna take a lot of practice.

it wasnt so bad 4 me, then again i dont really play that much anymore (got TEH buseh..and i want an acoustic, i have an electric)

just build up the calluses, and once u got them u get addicted 2 playing
it's pretty easy
just dont try 2 start barring chords after a week of playing
it wont work.

My son and I started lessons a couple of weeks ago...
I hope to get very good very quickly, and play a local
arena by Christmas time.
