Our most spiritual place is probably in Sedona, which is about a two hour drive from Mesa. In Sedona, you should be able to hook up with any number of Shamans, Pagans, Psychics, etc. Plus, you can vist the energy of the vortexes if you like. I go to Sedona at least once a month for vortex meditation. The entire city just has a really good energy. Unfortunately, it's become a bit of a tourist type of place.

If you're looking for something a little closer to Phoenix/Mesa then I would probably try The AZ New Age Directory for a list of shamanic practioners who can show you some of the sacred places closer to your friend's new home.

Orgnote me if you would like any additional info and I'll try to connect you with the right people/places.

Hope you enjoy your trip out here!

i'm sorry i know nought of the places that you speak but i do know it's beautiful and you can't help but feel it when you are standing in the desert. i do believe there are places with petroglyphs and certainly lots of caves and mortars hollowed out in stone.

btw... these are some of the petroglyphs found in the area i grew up in biggrin

I have never been, and I have read that Bell Tower in Sedona is filled with Crystals.

If you go, remember to ask the spirits for permission to take one.
