I guess I felt quite manly when me and my then-girlfriend were at her country place and I was out chopping wood to heat up the place. Meanwhile she was waiting inside, reading a book. I had wrapped a blanket around her to keep her warm and she looked so beautiful and comfortable. Then when I came back in I carried her to the bedroom and...erm...what was the question again?

It was a really nice evening. nod It felt romantic being surrounded by forest and not have any TV or other stuff to distract us. Our friends would sometimes ask us if we got bored when we went out there, but we never did. I guess it was just fun and relaxing to be able to hang out and spend time together, without the phone ringing or appointments to be kept. Life can be so bloody stressful sometimes. disbelief

I suppose you've had lots of romantic moments in your amazing house? Just the dining room alone breathes good feng shui.

Not a big fan of romance, eh? That's fine. But we all define it differently.

I'm sorry Althom but I've been spending the last 30 minutes trying to picture you looking manly, and it's just not working. Nothing is coming to mind.

Can you be more specific--maybe help me out? hmm

I've never heard of Mills and Boon. I assume it's some sleazy novel? lol

I actully thought of Burke and Wills when I read the name. Maybe because I know you're Australian? hmmm

Any DIY activity gets the testosterone pumping.

I painted the kitchen window this weekend - very manly, women can't do glosswork no no no!

Growing a beard, I love having the oppourtunity to leave the razor on the shelf, very manly, women certainly can't do that!
