I got him when I was younger (he's thirteen), so I really didn't have a grasp on the fact that a dog with such a thick coat would be miserable in the summer here in Houston. He looks rather silly, but he's not vain! He perks up so much when he gets his shave, you can tell he's more comfortable. All I care about is that the little dude is feeling good!
OK FANTASTIC !!!! SOMEONE WHO KNOWS THE BREED does the hair grow back the same ???? or does it change the hair for good ? No, the hair grows back exactly the same. I worried about this as well, until my dog had to have surgery, and shaving was a part of that. When it grew back in the same as before, I knew it would be okay. He looks really silly, but kinda cute too. Its worth it for him, because he feels so much better. and does your corgi play fetch ?? cuz, i cant get either one of mine to figure out that game
He used to. He's thirteen now, so I don't get a whole lot of activity out of him, but when he was younger he really took to it. In fact, it was his favorite game for years. I don't really know what to tell you, since he pretty much decided he was gonna chase the ball from the get go. Maybe your dogs are more interested in the arts, and are not the athletic types! Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. (Ecclesiastes 7:9) | |
