WTF?!

I'm sorry I have to ask him something in dutch...

embryo's are no humans..wtf? disbelief

sorry every one, i'm busy in a move. having a beer and too lazy to translate this conversation wink

As for breakfast -- coffee. When I'm not working, I usually have a bowl of cereal or a sandwich. And on weekends I usually eat eggs, bacon, the whole shebang.

I usually have rice soup, a healthy Thai soup with liver, chives and all manner of things you'd probably turn your noses up at, mixed fruit, or just something like Promite on toast.

With a nice pot of green or white tea, of course. smile

i appreciate & respect your view, and i think you should respect mine too. I understand that it's different because i'm a man, but it's a tired argument that's wheeled out that people who can't conceivably be "involved" in the same way as others, somehow can't have a valid opinion. It's used in all manner of scenarios - like the death penalty. Because i haven't had a member of my family killed by a murderer, i can't validly say that I think the death penalty is disgusting and abhorrent. It's not true.

I'm pro-choice, but i wouldn't say i agreed with you. wink I don't believe meat is murder, and i also do believe that embryos are for all intents and purposes, human ~ i wouldn't call them, 'babies', though. But i do NOT believe that abortion is "killing babies". That's the distinction.

An embryo is an embryo, a baby is a baby, hence the different terms to describe them. However, they are of course basically the same thing but at a different stage of development, up to a point. Different people just draw the line at different stages.

I agree with Frog that abortion is not "killing babies". I think it's a delicate subject and deserves a little more tact and understanding than that lovely turn of phrase allows.
