As a lot of you know we are emigrating back 2 the USA from the UK in around 4 or 5 months time!! Well, my husband and I are having huge fights as 2 what 2 pack and ship over!!

About a year ago he ordered from a welding magazine(without me ever knowing about it until a UPS guy showed up at my door with this huge heavy box, of which I had 2 sign for!!) a welding machine complete with all the rods, masks, guns, etc. It cost about £100+!! The thing is its been sitting in a closet without ever being used!! The thing weighs a ton!! Also he has brought lots of tools etc, basically for work, as firms now dont provide tools, as well as grinders, etc.

My son and I have huge vast CD and DVD collections of which we have spent years collecting and some are even worth a lot and are even rare as a certain percentage of them are bootlegs and cannot b found again!! Also I have my huge Prince collection of all the Uptown Magazines, moreorless all Controversey magazines, plus tourbooks, books and files of press and media clippings as well as other memorabilia, plus posters, etc.!!

The thing is I wanna have a yard sale and sell this welding machine and other items like a telescope my husband brought as well as other things!! Also I wanna ship all mine and my sons CD and DVD collection as well as all my Prince stuff over!!

We are having huge rows over this as my husband doesnt think I am being fair with all this, yet I am being practical with this as probably the airlines wont ship the welding machine and the tools over anyway due 2 the events of 9/11 and terrorism, so we will have 2 sell it!!

This is so frustrating!!!

Having said that you have to weigh up as to whether it will be more expensive to ship the stuff across or buy new equipment in the USA. Of course welding equipment in the USA will be bigger, better, stronger, longer lasting and cheaper than anything in the UK, as you have told us many time EVERYTHING american is better than anything in the UK. Sell the equipment on Ebay or something and use the money to buy new equipment in the USA!!!!

Prince doesnt really hold much for me anymore I am in no way a fan of his music now or of what he is now as a performer and recording artist!!
I have decided its now time for me 2 move on in my life!! I have more important things 2 do now,like for example, I have 2 get a job, now that its no longer necessary for me 2 b a stay at home mother anymore. I no longer feel the need 2 waste time on here all day, every day. Over the past few weeks and even months I have had a huge wake up call from both experiences in my life and also from certain things happening on here, that I feel that now its time for me 2 move on and reclaim real life back again!!

I also have discovered now what it means 2 b balanced and 2 priorotize everything in my life!!

How about you prioritise by doing the right thing and SELLING all this shite, its just a bunch of plastic discs, tapes, and paper. It has no real value other than what you can get from it. i.e the music. Digitize it and take the MUSIC back to the USA with you on a hard drive or a DVD disc. Sell the collection and do something positive other than demand your husband sell his stuff while you and your spawn keep your own!!! Contribute women and make a contribution - help set yourself up for your future together!!! Clinging on to this "collection" is an illness, it gives you nothing - let go or get yourself on the life laundry program and get some councilling for this illness you have.
