MAN, TALK ABOUT DISTURBING !!!

i watched E's - 'top 100 most shocking moments' ... well, ok, i watched bits and pieces of it today, it was on for like 3 hours i think.....

anyway, MJ was on there like 5 different times...

but most sad to me was that the death of princess dianna was the second story, and the top on that list of 100 ????

OJ SIMPSON disbelief

well sure, it was very shocking, and it was a story that touched so many different folks on different levels - young, old, black, white, man, woman, rich, poor, whatever..... and we all remember where we were when the 'chase' was happening, and where we were when the arrest was made.... but FUCK ! why is his name put up there like that ??? i mean, its kinda like saying, 'see, you can kill and get away with it.' disbelief

i guess i just have such little respect for him as a human barf i wish it would all just end. dont bring up his name for stupid shit like this show, dont make it look all glamorous, and please dear god dont let him end up as a number one on ANY list... unless it is of course.... PEOPLE WHO GOT AWAY WITH MURDER AND WE KNOW YOU DID.

thanks, just needed to vent sigh

Well he certainly was no innocent bystander. Both of them cheated in their marriage. And weren't they separated at this point? Dragging this woman's sex life into it is cowardly, especially if they were separated. At that point it was none of OJs business who she was fucking. I cannot stand that people use the "she was a whore" argument to justify and legitimize her death. She fucked another man so she had it coming.....

Jeez, it's a joke though there is some truth in it. I care as much about her death as I do about anyone else I don't know. Too bad he got away with it, but he's not the first and won't be the last.

It may have been a joke coming from Chris rock but plenty of people were invoking this crap in real life discussions. And this for me isn't really about caring about her as a person, for I did not know her, but it really angers me that people drag in her sexuality and ignore OJs. If she deserved to get what she had coming because she was with other men, then OJ should be six feet under as well because he was a whore during their marriage too. It sickens me that women are the target here and the man, nope nothing to think about there no no no! It's total horseshit.

I personally think the man is guilty as sin, but I respect our jury system and have to accept the innocent verdict. It is interesting that with physical evidence, OJ could go free but with nothing but circumstancial evidence Scott Peterson will fry. Our jury system aint perfect, but it's probably about the best it will ever be.

Personally I thought he was guilty, but I have a real problem with convicting someone without concrete evidence. Look at the Robert Blake trial, circumstancial but he got off. Should we think of having professional jurors?

What would that help? You can still have the bias, and even a "professional" juror could be bought, I'm sure.

I wasn't there so I can't say if Scott or O.J. were innocent or guilty. I have this feeling that they both hired someone to do it though.

I firmly believe OJ did it and I had to quit talking about it becasue it riles me to no end.

Be4 anyone gets excited...no I was not there nor was I on the jury...but good grief  if any of the three mentioned in this thread (Simpson, Blake, or Peterson) should have paid for their crimes due to evidence ...it was OJ! I often wonder, when I see his mug, how he lives with himself...mad

sorry guys, horrible weather here has had my computer turned off sad so i wasnt able to comment on what you said, so here goes...

SHE WAS A WHORE ??? someone please tell me how the hell thats even remotely funny ?? the facts are, he beat his wife when they were together.... thats a given. he was possessive - THATS MORE THAN OBVIOUS ! he was jealous.. again, thats a given fact. and he was bitter - we all know that. well, you dont have to be a rocket scientist to figure out what that adds up to.

now, whether he did it himself or hired someone to do it and he was just 'there' we will never know. but the man is as guilty as they come, and its a crying shame that he was let off the way he was.

now youre gonna say, how do you know ? where you there ?

of course that answer is no, i wasnt there... but COME ON hammer its plain to see that the man was all about revenge..... you know, the standard, 'how dare you fuck my wife' thinking rolleyes

whatever, when he dies, he will answer for what he did. i just cant stand seeing his name in lights like that....

and to answer the question above, i believe it was called the TOP 100 MOST SHOCKING MOMENTS IN ENTERTAINMENT. shrug

It isnt meant to be funny it is the damn truth.

Did you know most murders are acted out due to having a lover tiff...I.E. Finding your spouse cheating.

Where they married still? Yeah I do believe that is called adultery in a court of law.

Death was a little extreme but they deserved a hiding. Morals these days have gone out the window.... no one respects eachother anymore.

You dont know what was really going on in her head or his head. So who are we really to judge?

I withdraw my statement.

Don't you have anything else to worry about than what people here think about this case or even whether or not he really killed those people? The only reason you're tripping over this is because you got sucked in by this whole media circus. There are plenty of murderers, rapists and child molesters living in a 20 mile radius from you. Some even got away with their crime and a few of them are an even bigger threat to society than OJ (that is IF he even did it). Don't forget plenty of innocent people went to jail and in some cases it really seemed like they deserved it.

Im sorry I was brought up a certain way, if you are married until you get a divorce those vows you took where legally binding, no I dont think death was a good outcome, but that would piss me off if that was my husband sleeping with someone behind my back??? Hell no, he getting in trouble I can tell you.

very true statement, but this type of thinking is what makes things like this happen in the first place ! it is scary to know that there are folks out there that really believe this is a reason for what happened, and from what i gather, yes, there ARE people that think this way sigh

see, if the thinking wasnt there to begin with, then we wouldnt have shit like this happening.

This tragedy has more to do with people being sucked in by the media circus. It involves real life issues that people face and deal with every day. When I was with my ex boyfriend, he was abusive to me. Emotionally, mentally and physically. I was 118 dealing with a 220 pound body builder. Hardly a match.

He was dementedly jealous and always accused me of cheating, which was not true. Sometimes he would be so flipped out because I denied it and he really believed it that he would slap me and punch me. Eventually I got to the point where I figured....if I'm going to get my ass kicked for something I haven't done, I might as well do it and that is when I started cheating on my partner. Not because I was a cum hungry whore, but because I turned to this person for comfort and for solace and for affection.

Juice, while you were brought up with whatever morals you were brought up with, you don't know their relationship and why she got with other men. Bringing her bed habits into this is really twisted and sick. I don't hear anybody saying jack shit about OJs daliances or about the fact that he beat this woman. If you are beating someone you don't fucking respect them and how dare anybody expect her to have respect for someone who clearly does not respect her. I got my ass beat way before I ever stepped out on my relationship and would hate to have people judging me like I was some whore when really I was looking for comfort and a little love.

And please before anybody starts lecturing me on how I should have handled that relationsship, I did finally leave and it would really help to hear the story from an abused person's perspective instead of automatically telling people what they should or shouldn't have done.
