Amen. Nothing turns me off more than a female who's always telling me what to do, or a clinging vine. Be independent and don't center your life around me. She doesn't have to be drop-dead gorgeous, but cute and shaped like Beyonce or J-Ho(race doesn't matter).

My biggest turn-off? Overweight or real skinny women, and women who smoke. I don't care how pretty a woman is - I see her lighting up and it's "feet don't fail me now". Lips that touch tobacco will never touch mine.

I have tried to date smokers and I just can't do it. Breath is very important to me. Over the years I've tried to convince myself that a good person could be hiding behind that cloud of smoke but it always gets to the point that I resent the person so I just tell guys who smoke that I'll fuck em but we aint ever gonna get married.
Hold me like a beautiful white dove.....firmly enough so I cannot fly away but not so hard that you kill me

Beautiful, I think it's about intelligence, maturity and some form of physical attraction. From a guys perspective, I really never really knew what I wanted until recently (35) and now I know that I've got to be physically attracted to the person (#1) and then the person has to be a good person (not selfish, arrogant or just plain mean) (#2) and finally the intelligence factor (#3). Without a combo of these I can't consider the woman as a potential long term relationship potential. This means actually getting to know someone before fucking them, which is not the norm for most people (including myself from the age of 16 thru 35). What is physically attractive to me may not be to someone else. Fuck the media and the sickly thin women, that's just me though and that's where the wild card lies, every person is different.

Oh yeah, and "The big piece of chicken" falloff

I always used to get (and still do) the "I wish I could find a guy like you" comment from women...I would always say to myself "Yeah, right...you did find a 'guy like me'...you found me"..lol..

Obviously, they weren't looking for a guy like me...most women never are (there's TONS of guys like me out there)...What I think they mean is that they wanted a guy like the one they have (or had), the somewhat-shallow, barely-any-depth-but-has-nice-biceps, "yes, he's disrespectful and rude to me but he can be really nice sometimes" type of guy that they're with and that they're always with. But, once they were in a relationship with that type of guy, they hope he suddenly becomes a "guy like me".

If I had as many women after me, as there are women claiming that they're trying to find a guy LIKE me, I'd either never be able to leave the house...or I'd die of exhaustion... lol rolleyes

I love the way you read the subject as "So, what do women really want?" lol And that's just it, isn't it? It's all about what women want. We can look for good qualities in women all year round; it won't count for anything unless we have a criminal record and a rock band. lol

Seriously though, I know what you're saying. I love and respect pretty much everything about women. But somewhere along the way, evolution has made some of them confused about what makes an alpha male. Thousands of years ago it might have been muscles, a confrontational attitude and a constant desire to stay in the spotlight and oppress those who don't. That's what was required to survive back then.

Today, the world requires a whole different set of qualities in a male (which are now similar to what's required in a female). If you want to survive you have to be smart, socially competent, have a sense of humour etc. But many women still instinctively go for the cave man. The cave man today is not the leader of the pack anymore. He is a dropout, a loser, an abuser. But try to tell that to some women...

Oh well, this has been discussed to death already. But it still gets on my nerves sometimes. That said, of course I get flattered when a woman admires my muscles. smile

I know many straight guys will recoil in horror at the thought that they could actually be jealous but I cannot tell you how many times straight men have been extremely jealous of my superior relationships with their women. Not that I intentionally try and usurp them in the relationship department, I just know how and do connect with women. My cousins husband is extremely jealous of me. One time even commenting on how it was innapropriate that we were sharing a blanket together while watching TV. Get your mind out of the gutter dude. I don't wanna screw any woman and I definitely don't want to screw my cousin! rolleyes

Ain't that the fuckin truth. But here's my problem: Straight guys like to hang around me, since i attract women, FOR being gay, but they don't think about a chick seeing them with me and drawing conclusions. Assbrains.

Anywho guys. Which would you rather have: A chick who's not Halle or Angelina but will be your best friend and treat you like the man you are or Halle or Angelina who look good on your arm but won't let you go anywhere, won't or can't cook, in your damn pockets all the time, etc.

OR

Do you guys seek out the total package.

Before you pick out that third option, stop lying. lol I'm just kidding. I know it's possible.

The smart men will opt for Option 'A'. Most men go for Option 'B'. Some guys hold-out for Option 'C', while using Option 'A' and/or 'B' until Option 'C' comes along, at which point he dumps Option 'A' and/or 'B'.

Women are not immune from the looks game, either. They want a good-looking guy with a big dick and a big wallet. That said, there are exceptions to every rule.
Most people don't have a clue as to what it takes to sustain a healthy, long-term relationship. The vast majority of relationships are not built upon compatibility and that is why the vast majority of relationships fail. People are stupid.
wave Here I am. I have my own place, car and money. I'm not materialistic and I believe a woman should leave a relationship with what she brought to it. I think a guy should be able to hang out with his friends without me sometimes because I feel if I pressure him to stay home with me, he'll end up resenting me. I am also tired of getting knocked by guys cuz they're bitter cuz they went for solely eye candy and the girl does 'em wrong. Wasn't me. Give the drama to the woman who gave it to you. nod

One day, you'll find a man who will appreciate you. Or not. Don't let this consume you. You don't have to be part of a couple to enjoy life (in fact, sometimes it's more enjoyable that way).
