My male red, Tanner came from the pound. He was about 11 wks old. HE was so adorable and I named him the minute I saw him. I did not know a thing about ACD's but I instantly fell in love with him. I am guessing he was probably the runt too. He has some issues but he is so handsome and he is a clown too. he is also very protective of his family. About 2 yrs ago we adopted our red female Kasey from Midflorida ACD rescue. She was picked up at a pound and taken to the ACD rescue. The vets guessed she was about 3 yrs old. We discovered shortly after adopting her that she has seizures. We had a difficult time with her and our schnauzer for several months after we adopted her. She is a sweet girl but she is very needy and clingy. She was supposed to be my husbands dog but she ended up bonding with me due to some previous abuse issues. It amazes me how tough they are though. Kasey ran head first into a tree in our yard running full force. I saw & heard it happen and I thought she broke her neck. She laid still & cried for a few minutes as I comforted her and tried to check her out. She got up after a few minutes and started playing with Tanner. This happened Wednesday so I am still keeping a very close eye on her. She was doing one of her favorite things, chasing squirrels.
Well, I could talk all night about my pups. Can you tell, I have no kids!
Almost forgot-

We do have 4 fish in our pond:

3 fat goldfish- Claire, Nathaniel, Isabelle
1 fat koi- Fisher
2 suckers- thing 1, thing 2

Also got a Rabbit called Felix, but he's not gonna be around much longer.

i'm just fattening him up before i kill him and eat him.

I don't have any pets...but my brother has a kat...and it's name is Aquado...from Ace Ventura Pet Detective...some animal on there is named Aguado.

Perry Farrell(? I think that's his name...that dude form Jane's addiction)...he has a cat...and it's name is Maceo....

I have an apricot poodle called Amelie who's the sex. But she's older that that mangey puppy above.
