Twin Peaks - Delayed until 2006

Reader Fredrik sent us a note pointing out a notice on a Swedish retail site mentioning the delay of Twin Peaks: Season 2. The site said Paramount has delayed the set until 2006 to work on the sound and picture (http://www.cdon.com/product.phtml?prod=181572 - in Swedish).

Dugpa.com made a similar update, saying the delay is so Paramount can work with David Lynch to oversee the new transfers. Hopefully the set will be up to the quality of season 1, which was released by Artisan Entertainment (now Lions Gate).

While the delay is disappointing, at least it's being done to create a higher quality set.
