I read my way through all the books on Oprah's book club list and then read all the other books by those authors and most were quite OK. Now I don't have a clue what to read any more sad Da Vinci Code was the last book I read, it was very exciting, nod

You should check out this book by David Foster WAllace called "Brief Interviews With Hideous Men." IT's actually a collection of short stories, but interspersed over the course of the book are the brief interviews with these guys that talk about a variety of really odd and crazy shit. For example there's one guy who talks about how every time he comes, he shouts, "VICTORY FOR THE FORCES OF DEMOCRATIC FREEDOM!!!!" and how he is so embarrassed by it that he never winds up calling or seeing the woman ever again. It's really a great book, funny, pretty entertaining, and some of it makes you think! wink

Yep! You know how he mentions at the beginning about being at the Vaticin and that? Well this is happening before The Da Vinci Code.

Hmmmm,

I guess I'm looking for books which really make you think and analyze.

Like Im reading the Purloined Letter for school work....
I liked how Dupin gets into the criminal's head and retrieves the letter.
