Does anyone here still do that?

I never did, but my husband did and still does on occassion. Puts a crease in them.

I have friends that still do it.

How about you?

Reminds me of my old ghetto roomie in Minneapolis. He was so proud of his crease.

I've thought about doing it, but I've never ironed creases in my jeans before and kinda feel stupid/poser-y doing it now.

I do, but not for a crease. Our dryer sucks, and they come out all stiff and wrinkled.

I don't know how common this was, but back in the 80's alot of older people I knew would buy their jeans one size too tight, soak them in water and ring them out, then wear them damp to break them in for a more custom fit.

Thank god people don't do that much anymore. It never made any sense, who wants to walk around with swamp ass all day?

I still iron my jeans, but NEVER WILL CREASE....LOL

I had to break my older brother from creasing his damn jeans years ago...but then again...I had to tease him to almost fighting for him to let go of his jheri-curl too!!!

not any more, it was my daughter who broke me, she was like ummm mommy don't do that to my jeans anymore just iron them flat. I told her no you just iron them flat but then I stopped ironing mine too.




oh and for the record dex, if I could go back to the wave nouveau aka jheri curl without too much juice drippin, I would...
