I was the gay kid, but it was the 80s so I dressed weird. Does that count?

I was called weird cause i liked prince, MJ, Boybands and spent lots of time at the local radio station flirting with the DJ's

I was obsessed with death and science and decided i wanted to be a forensic scientist and cut up dead people

so i guess i was a little weird

they all used to think i was a vampire or something
i didnt think i was that creepy

i was a weird kid all through my primary/secondary yearz!!

In primary school I used to own a pair of fake dracula teeth n i used 2 wear em and chase other galz who shitted me wif em when i was seven Boyz used 2 fink i was cool n wanna borrown em from me-- which i'd lettem do only if they cleant it off their boy germz

Was disinterested in playin wif most clanz in primary school cause i was alwayz da odd one out...used 2 spend lunchtime readingz bookz or listening to my walkman

I alwayz got along heapz better wif da boyz actually when i was a lil chickadee ...but I got bullied a fair dealz!!

In my secondary yearz it was not until my mid yearz did i have an established group of friendz...and 4 some reason girlz used 2 pick on us. My friend did modelling and made da mistake of bringing a portfolio 2 show n other galz used to realy give her a hard time...and for me...i had a prominent accent (which only my friendz seemed 2 like...) and i was in da school choir...and I used to do my hair real nice everyday (but it took me just as long for me to do my hair like dat as da average gal seemed to take 2 do a straight forward ponytail...what can i sayz ...i was at da cutting edge )

Having said all this i soon found my lil group of coo coo friendz whom i still remain friendz wif 2 this day ...they were da REAL cool chickz by far and nonez!!

I grew up in a rural town in Alabama during the 80's. A half asian/white kid with a dutch last name was....erm....wierd.

i remember in our leavers' book - everyone had to submit a photo, messages to friends, a motto and contact details.

One guy drew a picture of a skull, and instead of everything else, just wrote in very large letters, "SWORN TO THE BLACK"



he also used to walk around grunting a la Deicide or whoever.

From grade 1 throughout high school.

I was starting any new small trends.
I was rockin the greb look long before i heard that word enough times to be able to remember or prounounce it.
I was dark, different and proud of it dammit!

i guess that would be me. i was never into any of the cliques at school. i hated sports. i was an oddball considering the side of town i was from. i use to be ride the city flyer blasting classical music and death metal from my walkman. Noone would ever talk or sit next to me on the bus, must've been that satanic bible i use to carry around.

all the girls did find me hot, though.

I could say I was the weird kid, but really, I always had friends. I was extremely shy till about I was oh, maybe 12 or 13 and I can still be quite shy, but not nearly as much as I was as a child. At about 13 or 14 I started making, shall we say, bold fashion choices which some folks will always find weird, but like I said, I always had a group of friends I hung out with. And by high school that was several groups of friends, the people in my nerdy advanced classes, the people I did theatre with, the strangely dressed kids I ate lunch with and my boyfriend's friends, and the like.
There was a kid in my high school who kept taxidermied (if that's a word) animals in his locker. I always thought that was kinda weird.
